Jake Townsend is the Founder and Co-General Partner of TownsendHouse. Jake has 25 years of success in luxury hospitality leadership and strategic guidance having worked with brands Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton,Waldorf Astoria, Conrad Hotels, and Raffles in creative and operational executive capacities, as well as a leading creative director and consultant to the world's great luxury brands including Aston Martin and Bentley. He is an author and contributor over the last two decades to most of the luxury consumer publications for the ultra high net worth around the world.

He is the author of many books on hospitality and architecture/design including Cool Hotels Italy, Cool Hotels Spain, Cool Restaurants New York, and Hotel Design. Jake is Co-General Partner, Creative Managing Director and consulting creative strategist in destination and luxury development working in the conception, implementation and oversight of luxury resort, hotel and destination development with projects in The Maldives, Latin America and throughout Southeast Asia, including Thailand.
